What Is One Thrive Mind?

One Thrive Mind was created from combining the concepts of two DBT skills:

1) One-Mindfully – the mindfulness practice that involves using all of your focus on one task, engaging in it fully, ensuring your mental presence

2) Wise Mind – the idea of practicing balance between logic and emotion

Because this blog is all about thriving, rather than just surviving, I felt that these two skills together embodied the message that I’d like to convey. If you focus all of your energy on pursuing yourself (your happiness, your needs and your wants, your thriving) along with practicing introspection and reflection, it might help you live the life you want to live.

Life is a journey, and while that journey can be difficult, we’re in this together!
